XIV INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF INDEPENDENT THEATRES PRO-CONTRA 2016


STATUTE

§1.
The organiser of the Festival is:

§2.

§4.
Time of the Festival: 2-4 September 2016

§5.
PRO-CONTRA Festival is a theatrical event and has a form of open presentations and workshops. Aside from the competition part, events such as concerts, exhibitions and group discussions are also provided.

§6.
At the Festival one can present any theatrical form:
– theatrical spectacle,
– musicals and dancing shows,
– theatrical scenes,
– puppet theatre,
– pantomime,
– happening etc.

§7.
The duration of the show cannot exceed 60 minutes, installation of the scenery can take up to 30 minutes, and dismantling no more than 15 minutes. In special cases the organizer may withdraw from the conditions above.

§8.
The organizer provides meals and accommodation for 5 members of each group for the duration of the festival (nights: Friday/Saturday, Saturday/Sunday, Sunday/Monday; food: Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Above that number each group is charged 65 zł for every additional member.

§9.
The organiser does not reimburse travel expenses.

§11.
Please, send the entry forms by mail or e-mail until June 20, 2016 (the decisive factor is either the postmark date or e-mail acknowledgement). The entry form should also contain: recording of the performance, minimum 3 photos of the show and (if available) a poster, all recorded on a CD / DVD or other electronic device.

§12.
The Competition Board constituted by the Art Director will qualify groups for the Festival. Qualification results will be announced until July 31st 2016.

§13.
The visiting groups will perform at the time and place scheduled by the organiser.

§14.
The festival has the form of a competition. The following prize will be Audience Award of the Festival.

§15.
Audience Award relies on the votes of the audience. After each performance spectators personally rate it on the basis of a five-grade scale.

§16.
The financial reward is provided for Audience Award.

§17.
The organizer in compliance with the Protection of Personal Data Act (29.08.1997) ensures proper protection of the collected and processed personal data of awarded contestants.

§18.
The organiser reserves the right to reshaping the regulations above.
